Create worklog

With KRONOS users can create worklogs, as detailed below:
From the header by selecting KRONOS > Create new worklog option.
From the header by selecting KRONOS > Calendar option then click the start date in the calendar panel.
On the issue view click on the More drop-down button and select the Create new worklog option.
On the issue view select the Create new worklog button on the top right section in My Worklogs panel.
On the issue view click on the + icon in the Time tracink panel.
In a Kanban board in the Issue details panel in the … menü select the Create new worklog option.

Worklog screen
The Create worklog screen has three main panels:
Date/Time panel on the left sidebar contains the calendar and the timetable view
Worklog details panel is the main panel contains all the worklog details
Samples and Drafts panel on the right sidebar displays the saved worklog samples and drafts

Calendar
The Calendar view displayes the the current day, the days where the user already logged work, where there are no worklogs.
Use the arrows in the header of the panel to display other months.
By clicking on the Today button you can always select the current day.
At the bottom of the panel you can find a little guide to the colour coding used in this Calendar view.
Timetable
Here you can see your worklogs in a timetable of a day selected in the Calendar panel.
The timetable panel displays your worklogs for the selected day divided into half-hour units. Use the … icon in the upper right corner to switch to 10-minute units.
At top of the panel displays the current date and the sum of the hours logged for that day.
Use the up arrow to expand the day view to the entire sidebar.

Issue picker
This field is required!
If the Creat worklog screen opened from the Calendar or the KRONOS menu, you can choose from a drop-down list of issues that you viewed recently. If the Create worklog screen opened from the issue view screen, the value of this field will be set.
Comment
Users can optionally enter a description up to 350 caracters for the worklog.
The application saves the previous comments created by the user and offers them next time.
Time panel
In the Start time and End time fields, the user can specify the exact start and end times he worked for the task. By filling the these fields the Duration filed value will be set accordingly.
Use the up and down arrows to adjust the time in minutes, or use your keypad to enter the values faster.
The Start time and End time fields have a quick entry feature. If the user enters the 815 number combination, the date field automatically sets the time to 08:15.
In the Date field, the user has the option to change the date of work within the allowed calendar days.
Activities
The Activity category field displays the default value set by the user in his User Profile. The value of the field can be edited, the user can choose from the options available to him from the drop-down list.
In the Activity field, users can select from the values belonging to the Activitiy category selected above.

The Workplace drop-down list contains all the available locations for the user. Te user can set a default value in his User Profile.
Record travel
Users can easily log travel time by checking the Log travel checkbox.
In the Toward row the Destination filed will take the value from the Workplace files specified above.
Once all the fields are filled correctly, the user can create the worklog by clicking the Create Worklog button in the lower right corner of the screen.
Samples and Drafts panel
Samples
If the user often records certain work or reaccuring tasks the Save sample button on the lower left corner of the screen can be used to save the entered datas for later use.
The saved samples appears in the right sidebar Samples section, displays information of the Activity category, Activity and Workplace and can be loaded to the Details panel by clicking on them.
The samples can be deletet but not editable.
Drafts
In order to avoid the loss of already entered data (eg. in case of recording for a closed period), it is possible to save it as a Draft.
These drafts can be accessed from the right sidebar Drafts section if you open the Create worklog screen later. Clicking the left arrow will load the previously saved data to the Details panel.
Automatic time tracker
This feature provide much more accurate logging, becouse users does not have to recall how much time they spent on a task.
From the header by selecting KRONOS and then choose „Open timer” in the dropdown menu, KRONOS will display the celendar. In this view users can initiate logging manually, but in the right left corner a timer will appear and there is already a possibility to log work automatically.
To start work the user have to press the timer’s red button. A pop-up window may appear and users can choose eather they log work on the actual ticket or start timer without any ticket. To stop the timer, press the STOP button („X” icon). After the timer was stopped, the recorded time can be saved or the timer can be resumed.
In case of saving the recorded time, the worklog screen will appear and the user can make changes manually. If the user close the recording window, the recorded period remains there in the „draft” field and missing datas can be filled later. If every necessary data are given by the user and it is also saved, the recorded time will disappear form the „draft” field.
