Installing KRONOS

Before you begin

You must have the JIRA System Administrators global permission before you can carry out the instructions on this page.

You must have the JIRA Core or JIRA Software installed on your system.

To install KRONOS, take the following steps:

  1. Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.

  2. Click the admin drop-down and choose Add-ons and the Find new apps screen loads.
    Tip: Use its Keyboard Shortcut instead: g then g and start typing manage... .

  3. Click in the Search the Marketplace search box and locate KRONOS.
    The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.

  4. Click Buy now to purchase a license for KRONOS.
    You're prompted to log into your MyAtlassian account. KRONOS begins to download.

  5. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.

  6. Click on Apply license.
    If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license key into your JIRA instance.

In order to avoid any malfunction that may occur

Disable the Jira log work modul after installing KRONOS.

Upgrading KRONOS

Free upgrade is available for users with a valid KRONOS license.

To upgrade KRONOS, take the following steps:

  1. Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.

  2. Click the admin drop-down and choose Add-ons and choose the Manage apps option from the sidebar.
     Use Keyboard Shortcut instead: g then g and start typing manage... .

  3. Find KRONOS in a list of your installed add-ons and click the Update button that is displayed if an update is available.
     You can select Action required option on the Manage add-ons page to get a list of all available updates at your instance.
