Supported Fields

Issue Navigator Plus supports most of native Jira fields. 

You can edit or delete the content of the above filed: Summary, Description, Issue Type, Priority, Status, Assignee, Epic Name Due Date and most custom fields

The Description field in the grid can be viewed only in text mode, although when editing it is possible to do it in visual mode as well.

It is not possible to change the Issue Type from to to Sub-Task. That usually is not just a one step status change. That has to be done in Issue Navigator or other plug-ins you might have.

When changing the Issue Type to Epic it is not mandatory to give it an Epic Name but it is a good idea to do it. Bare in mind that Epic Name can be set for an Epic and an Epic only. If you try to set an Epic Name for another type of issue you will get an error message. To find out more about it, please visit the Error Messages page. 

For any field to be editable first you have to have permission to do it. If you encounter any permission issues please contact your Jira administrator. Also the field has to be on the projects' screen. Again, if you can not find or edit the field you would like to, please contact your Jira administrator.
