Browser Extension's Operating Process

Setting up the Jira App and Browser Extension 

Extension Setup:

1. URL Configuration:

   • The extension requires only the URL of the integrated application to function properly.

Jira App Setup:

1. Registration or URL Configuration:

   • The PassMan Enterprise Jira app requires only the URL configuration to operate.

Settings:

1. Same URL Configuration:

   • Ensure that the settings for both the Jira app and the extension are configured to the same URL.

Using the Extension

1. Integrated PassMan Application Settings:

   • In the settings, we can specify the URL of the registered integrated application and other additional configurations for the extension.

2. Communication with Integrated PassMan Application:

   • It maintains a connection with the configured integrated application. The integrated application interfaces can perform operations within the integrated application on behalf of the logged-in user.

3. Browser Menu Enhancement:

   • It creates an additional menu for Jira input fields in the browser context menu. This allows users to copy data from the integrated application to Jira with a single click.
